Mr. "Ant" Tenna, more commonly known as Tenna, is the main antagonist in Chapter 3 of Deltarune. He is a television Darkner and a game show host of TV Time. In the light world, he appears as the old CRT television of the Dreemurr family. Just as TV hosts are usually portrayed, he is energetic and overly enthusiastic, with his main goal being to entertain the Lightners as he used to. Tenna is shown to be driven by his fear of abandoned and thrown away due to being outdated.

Ever since I first played the chapter Tenna appears in, I grew extremely fond of him and his endearing character. Tenna is one of my main sources of comfort and brings me so much happiness, and I believe this might be the first time I loved a character this much. I created a physical shrine for him in my room that I am actively updating as to show my love and dedication for him, and now I am in the process of making a website page for the guy himself too! 8>[^D]

Why I love Tenna

If you didn't know already, Tenna is my favorite character from Deltarune, and I have countless reasons why I love him so much. I already grew fond of him as I first started playing the chapter that he's in. I think it's mainly how his character is written, and how much depth there is to him, making him a realistic and relatable character (but that can really be said for the rest of Toby Fox's characters too :P)

Before playing the newest chapters, I have only heard a bit from the game, most of which was the new TV character introduced in one of them. At first he didn't really intrigue me THAT much, but then, I haven't even tried actually playing Deltarune then. (I know I'm a recent fan...lol) I loved Undertale for years and still do but the thing back then was that I think I was hesitant to try Deltarune probably because I don't like stepping out of my comfort zone and had no idea what the game was really about, and I kind of regret not trying it earlier, but at least I did after all. And now both games are just as dear to me.

Anyway, once I actually got to buying the complete game, I have already sensed Tenna would be my next obsession after starting to play chapter 3. First of all, I think Tenna is a very funky and whimsical character with a unique introduction and speech pattern, which already captivated me as I was playing. Also he's extremely tall and wears a suit. He is constantly at motion in order to get the most attention to him, and the fact that he is actually a 3D model rendered into the game to appear pixelated is something very new to the game seriously imagine something like Tenna's intro being in Undertale. But that is not only why I love him - as I mentioned before, he has a lot of depth to his character. And it shows clearly throughout the whole chapter. As an old TV, he is desperate to be watched and have as much attention as he had in the past, to prove he's still relevant and not outdated. He wants to be able to entertain both the Lightners and the Darkners, and most of his actions stem from his immense fear of being abandoned and thrown away, and deep insecurity. He is also shown to have many major flaws as well, and that is what makes him such a realistic character (also quite relatable). I could go on for a long time but I think I have said the basis of why I mainly love him yeah yeyayyy

Tenna is one of my main sources of comfort and happiness - as well as Deltarune itself too - and I love him very dearly ^_^ I actually did not expect to grow so fond of Tenna and so invested in his character and his role in the game(and his relationship with Spamton ehehe) and shortly after finishing the chapter I decided to create my own shrine for him in my room with the things of him I'd collect over time (I will show when I update the site soon)! Now I have made countless of artworks of him as he is one of the main things I draw, own an official plushie of him, and I consider myself a Tenna yumeshipper :D thumbs up
